无论是职业规划还是教育规划,最大的难点不是向外分析就业形势或者专业热门程度,或者学校录取的难易程度。最大的难点是向内分析,究竟这个专业是不是我想要的,在这里这个地方以这种形式学习,是不是能激发我最大的潜力,我究竟是个什么样的人,想要什么,能做到什么,能做好什么。

认识自己,首先是认识以前的自己。年轻人不知道自己有多么善于忘记,也因此很多次已经发现了自己的长项,有了很出彩的表现和令人骄傲的成绩后,却又忘了其实这可以打造为自己的核心竞争力。有时候随波逐流惯了,自己并没有在挑选最能挑战和体现自己强项的事情去做,而是按部就班的做被要求的事情和工作,以至于哪怕自己是有特点有专长的,也在平庸的过程中丧失了对自己骄傲感的回忆。因此我建议想要定位自己的同学,拿出一张纸,回忆过去的三五年中,哪三件事你做的最有成就感,以至于你当时有一种这件事别人都比不上我的冲动,寻找到这三件事,然后分析它们背后所体现出来你的优势和特点。

其次,就是通过自己设定的挑战来测试。比如一方面说自己不适合中国的教育模式,另一方面从来不选小班研讨课,也没参加过出国的夏令营,也没进行过交换生学习,甚至没有主动做过独立的论文研究和课题展示,自己如何能判断自己更适合海外的教学模式呢?

再次,听取别人对自己的评价。没有人能够完美的认识自己,正如没有镜子,我们连自己的脸都洗不干净。真诚的,有经验的,专业的人的意见,很多时候反映了自己所看不到的自己的那一面。然而有时因为信任没有建立,别人不敢评价,有时因为同学好胜心太强,不愿意听不好的,反而想要一味的反驳和争辩,于是乎错失了对自己加深了解的机会。良药苦口利于病,忠言逆耳利于行,一个收不到批评的人,失去了借助别人力量进步的可能。

第二步:增加体验、像过来人请教,让理想落地

很多时候最可悲的地方不是实现不了理想,而是实现以后发现和自己想象的完全不一样。为了避免有这种订立目标时假大空虚的倾向,我的建议是去看看那些觉得已经实现了目标的人是什么状态。因此在寻找意义时,坚决杜绝闭门造车,可以进行目标学校走访、目标学校校友访谈,看看出国进了那个学校,究竟能不能实现自己的想法,搜集关于理想更多的现实资料,让理想落地。比如想要做一名老师,暑假可以先去支教或者兼职教书体验一下,比如想要做一名主持人,通过各种途径访谈一名现任的主持人,看看那是不是你想要的状态。比如想进宾大读书,就来和我聊天,问问宾大的学习和生活真实的状态是什么样子的。

只有当理想落地变成丰满的认识时,这个理想才能被分析和分解,而目标分解成小的任务,才可能被实现。
